Objectives:
Produce a comprehensive video tour that showcases the works of the 21 emerging designers from the Rutgers University–Newark Graphic Design BFA Class of 2025. Serving as a digital extension of the senior exhibition Common Ground: Perspectives on Freedom.Target Audience:
Design students, faculty, prospective BFA applicants, and online visitors interested in contemporary graphic design education and the Rutgers–Newark creative community. The video also appeals to alumni, local arts supporters, and those exploring how design can reflect cultural and social freedom.Timeline:

COMMON GROUND | Mission Statement
In the 21st Century, pursuing and protecting freedom is both a personal and collective challenge. The 2025 Graphic Design Senior capstone exhibition, Common Ground: Perspectives on Freedom, explores how opposing viewpoints can reveal shared truths and foster unity. Through the lens of Communication Design, each project examines how perspectives can intersect, creating spaces for understanding amid polarization.

The COMMON GROUND brand Identity system was designed by Jhoselyn Contreras, James Dixon, Elizabeth Frias, Jazmyne Johnson, Nathalie Lantigua, and Camilla Zarzuela under the direction of Professor Chantal Fischzang.

I led the editing, narration script, and post-production process, working with raw footage, curated photography, and custom captions to deliver a video experience that reflects both the diversity of the projects and the collective spirit of the show.
